The MO19 division are the specialist armed team of the Metropolitan Police Department, they deal with hostage situations and firearm situations. The MO19 division are a highly trained firearms unit that de-escalate intense situations.
Command Structure
Chief Superintendent [ CO-1 ]:
Head of the division, will look after and keep all handbooks and other documents up to date. Will introduce new updates and develop the division in being more efficient and professional. Will deal with all disciplinary action and promotions within the division. Will liaise with gold command and other divisions for further improvement.
Superintendent [ CO-2 ]:
Deputy head of the division, support the head of the division with keeping all handbooks and other documents up to date. Will also support in updating and developing the division. Will deal with all disciplinary action and promotions within the division. Will liaise with other divisions.
Chief Inspector [ CO-3 ]:
Assistant head of the division, will listen to the officers in the division to gather improvements and will then liaise with the head and deputy head to work on updating procedures. The assistant head is also in charge of the TROs to make sure the quality of training is to a high standard.
MO19 is the Metropolitan Police’s elite firearms unit, made up of highly trained officers equipped to handle some of the toughest situations, including:

Building entries and tactical breaches
And other high-risk operations
